I gave it 5 stars because its the best text-to-speech for PDFs. Sometimes it changes language to German for documents written in English with only being authored by a German company & the name in the header

iBook is not as flexible. Others are adequate but dont offer the options that Foxit does. So while I use other apps I always comeback to its one. Nice job, foxy

iPad 2. iOS 9. Please fix. When this app didnt crash, it was a 5-star program Still crashes after update. The app usually works after I try opening it 10 times, but this is unacceptable. Please get your act together.

There is so much you can do with fox it PDF that you cant do with others for free. Prices for doing everything are reasonable. I wouldnt give up this app for nothing. I also have the complete Adobe PDF app, which I pay for monthly through their Creative Cloud yearly plan mainly for dreamweaver, but still use Foxit PDF as my default. You wont be disappointed.

Even though I have disabled this connected nonsense, and disabled restore last session. The app was the perfect PDF reader before the update; it had absolutely everything one would need when working with pdfs, ability to highlight, take notes, even call out boxes, and many more. But since yesterday that I updated my OS, it crashes unexpectedly approximately 1 minute after I open a PDF. Please please please fix it.

Great app for those who want to read and annotate PDF files! Thank god for this app, otherwise I would be stuck reading PDF books on iBook and unable to write notes!

Does a good job. Gives a clean, easy navigation of table of contents, the annotation tools are nice. One of the main limitations of this version is the lack of split screen capability on iPad. I would benefit from being able to read from this app and take notes on a separate app without toggling the multi-tasking bar. Thanks for the good work!

I was thinking about filling my pdf form, It help me fill and save it. Thanks for this app good job.

I downloaded Foxit and so glad I did! I am a cross stitcher and use it to upload patterns, enlarge sections, and highlight progress on PDF pattern. Easy to use. Just remember to SAVE progress when you stop Stitching for the day/night!

Although I saved the file again and again, my "saved" version is totally gone now! I spend a lot of time on making the notes, saving repeatedly, but you know, you still will lose your annotated files! Good luck, everyone! I am completely done with this app!

After downloading this app in the hopes of working on a project involving PDF files, my hopes were promptly crushed when the app failed to function past the opening blue screen. After a few seconds, the app crashes, and that concludes the many "handy" functions of this "helpful" PDF editor. Pffffff. Dont bother downloading this app, it will only lead to bitter disappointment and annoyance.

Crashes on every doc I reflow to increase font size. Worthless. If I wanted to read unmodified I could just get the adobe reader.

Works Fantastically

Im a students and our school uses iPads all the time and when I lost that iPad I found the perfect free replacement for a PDF editor! This app saved me and my grade.

I use this to read textbooks, manuals, research papers, etc. on my 12.9" iPad. Now with support for Split View, it is undoubtedly the best available. None of the other apps Ive tried have quite the feature support that Foxit has, since they are geared toward PDF editing or annotating rather than reading.
